Stoke City: Phil Jagielka and Chelsea's Lewis Baker sign for Championship play-off hopefuls

Stoke City have signed former England defender Phil Jagielka on a deal until the end of the season, as well as Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Jagielka, 39, had to be released by Derby on Friday after the EFL refused to approve a contract extension for the in-administration Rams.
Baker, 26, joins the Potters from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee.
The England Under-21 international had a 16-year association with the club.
But he failed to make a senior league appearance at Stamford Bridge and spent the majority of his time on loan with various clubs across Europe and in the English Football League.
They included two spells at Vitesse Arnhem in the Netherlands, Fortuna Dusseldorf in Germany and Trabzonspor in Turkey, as well as appearances for MK Dons, Reading, Middlesbrough and Leeds.
Jagielka had only joined Derby on a short-term deal in the summer following his release by Sheffield United.
He made 21 appearances for them, the last in the FA Cup against Coventry.
His deal with Derby was not due to expire until Monday but, given that there was no chance of an extension, they released Jagielka immediately.
"Phil brings a wealth of experience to our squad and has shown with his performances for Derby that he still has a great deal to offer," said Potters manager Michael O'Neill.
"There were no shortage of clubs who expressed an interest in signing him once his deal with Derby came to an end and we're really pleased he has chosen to join us."
Stoke have been looking for a new centre-half since Australia international Harry Souttar was sidelined for the season on World Cup duty in November.
