Late drama as Wrexham win 2-1 at Wealdstone

Reece Hall-Johnson scored a dramatic added time winner as Wrexham fought back at Wealdstone to boost their promotion challenge.

Jordan Davies had already levelled in the 88th minute with The Stones down to 10 men after Jack Cook was sent off for a second yellow card.

Rhys Browne struck a penalty and home goalkeeper George Wickens kept the visitors at bay until Davies scored.

Wrexham stay seventh with Wealdstone remaining 17th.

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson:

"Well we kept knocking on the door and got our rewards in the end. I felt over the balance of the game we've had all the best chances.

"In the first half we didn't work the 'keeper and we spoke about that and second half he pulled off some incredible saves and then we concede from a penalty.

"But we kept an element of calmness in our play, kept moving the ball and I just felt a goal was coming because we had so much possession in and around their box."
