Greenock Morton 2-1 Partick Thistle: Visitors' promotion bid falters
- Published
Partick Thistle's Scottish Championship promotion bid was dented as Greenock Morton fought back late on for victory at Cappielow.
Ian McCall's men took an early lead when Kyle Turner turned the ball home.
But Gavin Reilly lashed into the top corner to equalise in the closing stages and Robbie Muirhead won it with an 86th-minute strike.
Thistle stay third but their first defeat in five leaves them eight points off leaders Kilmarnock.
Morton are up to sixth, eight points clear of the relegation play-off spot.
