Hamilton Academical 1-0 Queen of the South: First back-to-back win in two years leaves Queens bottom
- Published
Hamilton Academical secured back-to-back wins for the first time in two years as Andy Winter's goal downed Scottish Championship bottom side Queen of the South.
The visitors were reduced to 10 men five minutes before half-time when Ben Liddle received a second yellow.
Striker Winter found the bottom corner from Andy Ryan's fine pass after 65 minutes as Hamilton capitalised.
Accies move above Greenock Morton into sixth spot.
Queens' fourth consecutive defeat leaves them three points behind Dunfermline and six adrift of Ayr United.
