Wrexham 2-1 Eastleigh: Elliot Lee double sees Wrexham recover to beat Eastleigh

New signing Elliot Lee made an immediate impact to earn Wrexham a 2-1 come-from-behind win against Eastleigh.

Eastleigh led when George Langston poked home after a poor attempted punch from debut home goalkeeper Mark Howard.

Ollie Palmer should have equalised for Wrexham before half-time with at least one of three good chances.

But Lee came off the bench to turn the game on its head, equalising with a fine curling effort before a sweet turn and shot sealed victory for Wrexham.

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson said: "It was important to get three points on the board on the first day.

"I'm glad in a way that the game was in the manner it was, because with the squad we've got there is a fear that people will get carried away and think every game we will go beat teams 3-0.

"This is a reminder teams will disrupt the game here, it's all about being patient and not trying to force it."
