Burnley 1-1 Hull City: Vincent Kompany's side fail to make dominance pay

Burnley's frustrating start to the new Championship season continued as they were held at home by Hull City.
Ozan Tufan opened the scoring for the visitors midway through the first-half before Jay Rodriguez quickly equalised.
But it was a familiar pattern from there on for Vincent Kompany's side as they totally dominated the game, and enjoyed a mighty 77% of possession, but failed to find a winner as frustration grew around Turf Moor.
Since beating Huddersfield on the opening weekend, Burnley have now drawn 1-1 twice either side of Friday's 1-0 defeat at Watford.
The point added to Hull's impressive start to the campaign with two wins and two draws.
It was the visitors who took the lead as Tobias Figueiredo's clearance was headed on by Oscar Estupinan and into Tufan's path.
The Turkish midfielder ran to the top of the penalty area before firing into the bottom corner as Burnley conceded the opening goal for the third game running.
The hosts were level nine minutes later as Josh Cullen sent Ian Maatsen away on the left and his teasing cross was perfect for Rodriguez to slide in from close range.
Hull threatened after half-time as Estupinan slipped Tufan in but his touch was a fraction heavy and his shot from a wide angle was blocked.
It was light relief for Hull who saw little of the ball and were forced to defend for very long periods.
Josh Brownhill came closest to a winner for Burnley as he shot into the side-netting after being set up by Rodriguez's header.
Vitinho also forced a low save from Hull goalkeeper Matt Ingram down to his right after Hull failed to clear, but the Tigers saw out five minutes of stoppage time to earn a point.
Burnley manager Vincent Kompany told BBC Radio Lancashire:
"We've been here before. We're dominant and as the game progresses we get more threatening and we create chances.
"In the end there were a lot of ingredients there for us to win the game and that's disappointing.
"One of the biggest things we have to do now is keep earning the right to play - when we stay patient, that's when gaps will open."
Hull City manager Shota Arveladze told BBC Radio Humberside:
"I would accept a point here. It's not an easy place to play but we got our goal and made it difficult for them.
"We knew what they do so we kept our wingers tight to stop them playing too much to the pockets in the corner.
"It was a great touch for the goal from Ozan. He tries a lot and he is getting up to full speed."
