Championship side Blackburn fought back to beat League Two Bradford and move into round three of the Carabao Cup.

Andy Cook's close-range finish put the Bantams ahead, and Kian Harratt almost doubled the lead when he glanced a header against the post.

But much-changed Blackburn were level when Bradley Dack capped a quick break with a crisp strike into the corner.

Jack Vale then drove into the Bantams box and teed up Dilan Markanday to hit the Rovers winner before the break.

Only Tayo Edun was retained from the Blackburn side beaten at Sheffield United as head coach Jon Dahl Tomasson made 10 changes after back-to-back 3-0 defeats, but his opposite number Mark Hughes made just one change as he went up against his old side.

The hosts hit the front with their first spell of pressure, Scott Banks beating his man on the right edge of the box before drilling a low ball across the box where Cook slid in to finish.

But within 11 minutes of Harratt's near-miss, Bradford trailed as Tyrhys Dolan surged down the left and picked out Dack to level before Markanday passed the ball into the net to complete the first-half turnaround.

Blackburn wasted a host of second-half chances to extend their lead as Garrett drilled a left-footed effort just wide, Dack bent a shot past the post, and Dolan dragged a late effort wide, but the visitors had done enough.
