Arbroath 0-2 Partick Thistle: Visitors earn third straight win after downing 10-man hosts

  • Published

Partick Thistle scored twice late on to down 10-man Arbroath and stay one point off the Scottish Championship summit.

Anton Dowds was on hand to follow up Ross Docherty's excellent shot, which hit the woodwork, after Scott Allan was dismissed for a second yellow card.

On-loan Rangers midfielder Cole McKinnon then added a well-taken second into the top-right corner to seal a third win on the bounce for Thistle.

Arbroath remain winless after six games and also stay bottom of the table.
