Partick Thistle 2-2 Cove Rangers: Mark Reynolds' late double for Cove
- Published
Mark Reynolds' late double rescued a point for Cove Rangers as they drew away to Partick Thistle in the Scottish Championship.
However, the draw was still enough for Partick to go top of the division on goal difference.
Steven Lawless put the hosts ahead and Stuart Bannigan doubled the lead early into the second half.
But Reynolds poked home with 10 minutes to go, and then volleyed in the equaliser four minutes later.
With Ayr's defeat at Raith Rovers, Ian McCall's side edged into top spot, with second-bottom Cove closing the gap on eight-placed Hamilton to two points.
