Raith Rovers 3-0 Cove Rangers: Connolly, Gullan & Stanton on scoresheet

  • Published

Jamie Gullan scored a superb free-kick as Raith Rovers strolled to Scottish Championship win over Cove Rangers.

The former Hibernian forward set up Aidan Connolly to stroke in Raith's first and his fourth of the season.

Then Gullan won a free-kick 25 yards out and dispatched it perfectly into the top left-hand corner to double the Kirkcaldy side's lead.

Excellent performer Sam Stanton made it three when the ball fell to him eight yards out.

It moves Raith above their visitors into seventh place in the division.
