Aidan Connolly nets his first of two for Raith Rovers against Partick Thistle

Partick Thistle slipped further off the Scottish Champions title race with a heavy defeat away to Raith Rovers.

The Kirkcaldy side were three to the good by the break through an Aidan Connolly double and Kyle Connell's penalty.

Raith move level on points and goal difference with sixth-placed Dundee.

Thistle are only a point ahead, but now sit four points behind league leaders Ayr United after a third-straight league defeat.
