Greenock Morton 2-1 Partick Thistle: Hosts win to narrow Ayr's lead at top

Greenock Morton moved back to within three points of Scottish Championship leaders Ayr United after narrowly beating visitors Partick Thistle.
Efe Ambrose headed Morton in front in the first half.
Anton Dowds struck to bring Thistle level after the break but Cameron Blues' shot put the hosts back in front.
And Partick had Tunji Akinola sent off in added time following a foul on Jai Quitongo.
Morton are second, ahead of Dundee on goal difference. Thistle are seventh.
