Holders The New Saints beat a stubborn Caernarfon Town side 2-1 to move into the fourth round of the JD Welsh Cup.
Connah's Quay Nomads avenged last season's Welsh Cup shock with a 4-0 win over Colwyn Bay to extend their unbeaten run to 11 matches.
Other top-flight ties saw Aberystwyth Town exit at the hands of Newtown, whose two late goals saw them win 3-1.
Bala beat Flint Town 2-0, while last season's beaten finalists Penybont were 3-0 winners at Conwy Borough.
Pontypridd United edged Ruthin Town in a seven-goal thriller to book their place in the next round, while the Cymru Premier's bottom side Airbus UK secured only a second win of the season, a 2-1 victory at home to Trefelin.
Pill, who stunned Cymru Premier side Cardiff Met in the previous round, saw their historic run come to an end, losing 3-1 at Pontardawe.
The lowest-ranked side in the competition, Hakin United, are also out, as they were beaten 5-1 by Holywell Town.
Iwan Matthews scored a hat-trick as Guilsfield won 6-3 against Goytre United, while fellow Cymru North side Gresford Athletic were 2-0 winners at six-time winners Barry Town.
Buckley beat Cymru North rivals Prestatyn 2-0, while Llanelli won 4-3 at Cefn Druids.
Cwmbran Celtic edged Carmarthen Town 4-3 and Briton Ferry Llansawel won 4-0 against 10-man Mold Alexandra.
