Cove Rangers 2-0 Hamilton Academical: McIntosh double downs Hamilton

Leighton McIntosh swept home a corner to open the scoring

Two late goals from Leighton McIntosh saw Cove Rangers beat bottom side Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Championship.

There was little to separate the sides in the first half at a windy Balmoral.

However, with time ticking away, McIntosh pounced from a corner to bundle in a loose ball, and then fired a low shot into the net from outside the box to secure all three points.

Hamilton remain rooted to the bottom of the league, whilst Cove stay eighth.
