Sean McGinty's header earned Ayr United a point in a captivating Scottish Championship encounter against Arbroath at a windy Somerset Park.
Ben Dempsey's penalty opened the socring in a first half that saw Arbroath boss Dick Campbell sent off.
With the wind at their backs, Arbroath turned the game on its head after the break through Sean Adarkwa's flick and Ben El-Mhanni's cross-shot.
However, McGinty nodded home Josh Mullin's corner with 14 minutes left.
The result keeps Lee Bullen's second-place side four points behind Queen's Park, while Arbroath stay 11th, now only four points clear of Hamilton.
