Morgyn Neill's equaliser deep into added time salvaged a point for Cove Rangers in the Scottish Championship as Raith Rovers extended their unbeaten run to seven games.
Lewis Vaughan dinked the ball over advancing Cove goalkeeper Kyle Gourlay to open the scoring, but Leighton McIntosh converting a penalty to level.
A wonderful low Dylan Easton strike from 18 yards regained the lead.
But Neill's close-range touch levelled again for the hosts.
It means Cove remain seven points behind the visitors in eighth place.
Cove Rangers manager Paul Hartley: "We always felt we were in the game at 2-1. We said that at half time - if we can't win the game, make sure we don't lose it, so that was the pleasing thing from today, but we have got to get a lot better.
"I said to the lads there - we have got 15 games, every game is going to be a real hard tough battle between now and the end of the season, so it is a league where you have to roll your sleeves up and be prepared to fight."
Raith Rovers manager Ian Murray: "Very frustrating, very disappointed with the scoreline. I don't think we deserved that to happen to us, but it did.
"We made the wrong decisions towards the end of the game, very poor game management from some players. It does keep our run going, it is a decent point and it has been a decent week, but it could have been a fantastic week."
