Arbroath 0-0 Partick Thistle: Hosts move within one point of Accies at foot of table
- Published
Arbroath and Partick Thistle fought out a goalless Scottish Championship draw at Gayfield.
The visitors had the better of the first half, but other than a long-range effort from Ross Docherty, there was little to trouble Derek Gaston.
Arbroath improved and Jaio Balde twice hit the woodwork for the hosts as Dick Campbell's side tried to ease their relegation woes.
The hosts remain bottom of the table but move within a point of Hamilton.
Managerless Thistle stay fifth.
Visiting goalkeeper Jamie Sneddon almost gifted the home side all three points late on when he allowed the ball to go through his legs, but the ball drifted just wide.
