Cove Rangers 0-2 Dundee: Tayside club close in on league leaders

Dundee moved to within two points of Scottish Championship leaders Queen's Park with victory away to Cove Rangers.
They finished the opening 45 minutes strongly, with Jordan McGhee and Lyall Cameron forcing goalkeeper Scott Fox into a couple of fine saves.
But the visitors took the lead in first-half added time when Cameron's deflected shot looped in.
Dundee doubled their advantage on 59 minutes when Lee Ashcroft lashed the ball past Fox from 10 yards.
The result means Cove remain just two points off the foot of the table and without a win in six home games.
Cove Rangers manager Paul Hartley: "I thought it was fine margins today. I thought we played some good stuff, the goals we are getting punished a wee bit, it takes a deflection. And the second goal we are actually having our best spell of the game and we concede. We lose our concentration from the set play and that is what is really costing us just now.
"But, overall, we competed really well, our attitude was good to the game but just the fine margins at this moment in time."
Dundee manager Gary Bowyer: "Delighted, it is not an easy place to come, but I thought the way we went about it, the first half especially, we played well and controlled the game.
"The timing of the first goal is very good, scoring right on the stroke of half-time. It was bit of luck with the deflection, but if you don't shoot, you don't score."
