- Published
Inverness Caledonian Thistle kept their promotion push going after a routine Scottish Championship victory over Arbroath.
Nathan Shaw opened the scoring for the home side from close range, tapping home Jay Henderson's cross, and Scott Allardice doubled the advantage from the spot after Henderson was taken down in the box.
The home side were reduced to 10 men late on when Henderson was shown a straight red for a challenge on Michael McKenna, but they held on for the win.
Billy Dodds' side are now just two points off Ayr United in fourth, while Arbroath remain eighth.
