Arbroath moved four points clear of the bottom two in the Scottish Championship after securing a draw away to Raith Rovers.
Scott Brown struck from outside the box to give Raith Rovers a third-minute lead.
However, three minutes into the second half, Thomas O'Brien headed the visitors level.
Arbroath's Michael McKenna and Raith's Ethan Ross threatened with long-range efforts in the closing stages.
Dick Campbell's side are four points above Hamilton Academical and six above Cove Rangers with three games to play.
