Hamilton Academical 2-2 Partick Thistle: Late strike earns visitors point
- Published
Only goal difference is keeping Hamilton Academical off the bottom of the Scottish Championship after they conceded a stoppage-time equaliser against Partick Thistle.
John Rankin's side looked like opening a four-point cushion going into the closing stages, but Cove Rangers' late winner at Arbroath combined with Steven Lawless's leveller for Thistle to leave them in a perilous position.
Hamilton had turned the game after Brian Graham's opener, thanks to Daniel O'Reilly brace, before Lawless struck.
The point keeps Thistle fourth, one point clear of Ayr United in the final promotion play-off place with two games remaining.
