Airdrieonians 2-1 Partick Thistle: Hosts stage second-half comeback
- Published
Airdrieonians came from behind to chalk up their first points in the Scottish Championship to down Partick Thistle.
The hosts were trailing to a first-half James Lyon effort, but turned it all round after the break.
Their clouds darkened further with a serious looking injury to player-manager Rhys McCabe who was taken off on a stretcher.
But second-half goals from substitute Gabby McGill and a glorious Calum Gallagher header snatched a win.
