Ten-man Dundee United were knocked off the top of the Scottish Championship after Greenock Morton came from behind to draw at Tannadice.

The hosts, who had Mathew Cudjoe sent off after the break, broke the deadlock on 18 minutes when Declan Glass' cross was met by Louis Moult, who glanced in his fifth goal of the season.

But Morton levelled as the hour approached, Robbie Muirhead slotting the ball into the net from close range after a mix up between United's Declan Gallagher and keeper Jack Walton.

Jim Goodwin's side were reduced to 10 men when Cudjoe was shown a straight red card following a coming together with Calum Waters.

But even with a player fewer, United almost grabbed three points as Moult twice went close at the death, seeing a header hit a post before his close-range shot produced a great reflex save from Morton's substitute keeper Ryan Mullen.
