Airdrieonians 1-0 Raith Rovers: Calum Gallagher scores winner for hosts

Raith Rovers were knocked off the top of the Scottish Championship as Calum Gallagher's goal secured victory for Airdrieonians.

Gallagher struck with 17 minutes remaining to move Airdrie to within a point of fifth-placed Partick Thistle.

The forward had earlier threatened for the hosts, including a header just off target.

Dylan Easton could not find a leveller for the visitors and they slip a point below Dundee United.
