Eastleigh beat struggling York City 3-1 to keep pace with the National League play-offs.
Paul McCallum's double earned the hosts victory to leave them a point behind the top seven.
Chris Maguire opened the scoring after 33 minutes and McCallum doubled the lead on the hour.
Callum Howe did make it 2-1 when he pulled a goal back just three minutes later to give the hosts some jitters, but McCallum made the points safe with 14 minutes remaining.
