Dundee United stay four points clear at the top of the Scottish Championship thanks to two Kai Fotheringham goals away to Airdrieonians.
The 20-year-old forward fired his side ahead after 20 minutes from six yards and added the second from around the penalty spot seven minutes after the break.
His sixth goal of the season secured a fourth consecutive victory and stretched United's unbeaten run to 15 games to leave their hosts in fifth after four games without a win.
Raith Rovers remain four points behind United after their 2-1 win away to Greenock Morton.
