Truro City's winless run was extended to five games as they lost 2-1 at home to Tonbridge Angels.

Ryan Brett and Sam Sanders both went close for the hosts before Sonny Fish put Tonbridge ahead with a cool finish on the stroke of half time.

Fish was brought down for a penalty after an hour which Lewis Gard converted before Angels had Ansu Janneh sent off for a foul on Dan Sullivan.

City's Tyler Harvey was sent off before Harvey Greenslade got a goal back.

It came after both sides had hit the post with the score at 2-0 as Harvey got a second yellow card before Greenslade's consolation goal in the eighth minute of stoppage time.

The loss sees Truro drop to 19th in National League South after 14 matches, three points above the relegation places, as Tonbridge leapfrog the White Tigers into 15th place.
