Stoke City 0-1 Sheffield Wednesday: Musaba strikes in injury time to beat Alex Neil's Potters

Sheffield Wednesday made it back-to-back wins to climb off the bottom of the Championship as substitute Anthony Musaba's injury-time winner stunned Stoke City.
The Dutchman kept his head in a one-on-one with teenage Stoke debutant keeper Tommy Simkin to sentence Alex Neil's Potters to a fourth straight defeat.
But, in a grim encounter, Stoke only had themselves to blame after missing a second-half penalty when Owls keeper Cameron Dawson kept out Ryan Mmaee's spot-kick.
Stoke drop to 20th in the Championship, just two points clear of trouble, having now picked up just two points out of a possible last 18.
Wednesday had lost their previous six away games - and had not won on their last three trips to the Potteries, dating back to 2007.
They might also have lost this one after referee David Coote awarded a 62nd-minute penalty for a perceived push by Akin Famewo on Josh Laurent as keeper Dawson came to safely gather a Stoke cross.
Dawson, though, dived low to his left to keep out summer signing Mmaee's penalty.
It looked as if Stoke would have to settle for a third goalless draw in six games, but there was once again a final pay-off for the Potters when Frenchman Djeidi Gassama sent fellow sub Musaba clear.
Musaba stayed cool to beat 19-year-old Simkin - a winning goal that cranks up the pressure on Potters manager Neil.
Stoke have now shipped a string of costly late goals in their last four games: two in the final four minutes in the 3-0 home defeat by Blackburn Rovers, two more (an 89th-minute own goal and an injury-time clincher) in the 4-2 loss at QPR, then a 97th-minute winner at Plymouth last weekend - and now this latest late, late setback.
Who's next?
Stoke are at home again on Tuesday night against Swansea City, before next Sunday's Midlands derby against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.
Danny Rohl's improving Owls go to Norwich on Wednesday night, before hosting QPR next Saturday.
Stoke City boss Alex Neil told BBC Radio Stoke:
"The last three games have been the same. We've had opportunities to win, we've been in control.
"In the first half we looked a bit timid and you could see a bit of anxiety, but we were a lot better second half.
"If the penalty goes in, the crowd gets behind us and we go on to win. But that was their only shot on target in the game.
"We've just flung games away. It's not like we've been blown off the park, We just need to take our chances."
Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"Maybe we had a bit of luck but we deserved it as we invested a lot in the game. Maybe four weeks ago, we would not have even got a point.
"Cameron Dawson made a great penalty save - and that gave us real energy.
"We now have the feeling of what we have to do as a team.
"It is my first three points away - and that is a fantastic feeling."
