Partick Thistle have an eight-point cushion in third place in the Scottish Championship.

Scottish Championship bottom club Queen's Park remain three points adrift as Partick Thistle's victory strengthened their grip on third place.

Harry Milne's opener was swiftly cancelled out by Ruari Paton, but the hosts built a two-goal lead after the break through Aidan Fitzpatrick and Lewis Neilson.

Paton's 90th-minute effort gave Queen's Park hope, but they could not find a late leveller.

Thistle are eight points clear of Airdrieonians, but nine behind second-placed Dundee United.
