Jonathan Morgan has returned to work as Sheffield United manager after an investigation into his conduct and behaviour.

Morgan agreed to stand down in October but he has now been cleared to return after the investigation was completed.

He is now preparing his side for their match against Tottenham in the Women's FA Cup fourth round on 14 January.

Sheffield United are currently eighth in the Women's Championship after 11 games.

In December an investigation into the events leading to the death of Maddy Cusack found no evidence of wrongdoing at the club.

Midfielder Cusack, who had played for the club since 2019, died in September at the age of 27. Police did not treat her death as suspicious.

Cusack, the first player to reach 100 appearances for the Blades, also worked as a marketing executive at the club.

Despite there being no evidence of wrongdoing, the Blades said they will "consider how processes and policies may be improved".
