Bristol Street Motors Trophy: Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool progress to quarter-finals

Bolton and Blackpool progressed to the Bristol Street Motors Trophy quarter-finals with wins over Accrington and Burton respectively.
Cameron Jerome's fine lob and Aaron Morley's penalty put Bolton in control before Alex Henderson replied, but Kyle Dempsey's late goal earned a 3-1 win.
Matty Virtue and Marvin Ekpiteta scored for the Seasiders in their 2-1 win over fellow League One side Burton.
Peterborough's game against Crawley was postponed because of a frozen pitch.
Bolton, second in League One, started as favourites against Accrington, who are only one point outside the League Two play-off places, but were pushed all the way by their lower-ranked opponents.
Veteran striker Jerome put the Trotters in front after 15 minutes, lobbing the ball over Stanley goalkeeper Joe Walsh who had rushed out of goal after being sold short with a headed pass by a defender.
It was 2-0 after 28 minutes when Paris Maghoma was fouled in the penalty area and Morley found the bottom corner with the spot-kick.
But Accrington hit back before the break with Henderson halving the deficit on 37 minutes with a shot from outside the box.
Stanley went close on a number of occasions with Bolton goalkeeper Joel Coleman seeing plenty of action, but the visitors put the game to bed on 83 minutes when Dempsey cut inside before curling the ball into the far corner to make it 3-1.
Blackpool took a fourth-minute lead against Burton when Sonny Carey won possession in Brewers territory before sending the ball wide to Kyle Joseph who crossed for Virtue to power home.
Joseph thought he had doubled the lead after 25 minutes when he put the ball in the net from Andy Lyons' delivery but the offside flag curtailed the celebrations.
The Brewers then had two goals disallowed, first, Deji Oshilaja's effort was ruled out for a foul before Steve Seddon's shot, after Ryan Sweeney had rattled the bar, was chalked off for offside.
Ekpiteta made it 2-0 with 22 minutes remaining with a close-range finish following a corner, but Burton hit back soon after through Dylan Scott who finished well to score his first goal for the club.
Burton came close to an equaliser with four minutes left but Oshilaja's shot was deflected wide of the post, while Blackpool almost had a third but Owen Dale's effort came back off the frame of the goal.
Posh 'bitterly disappointed'
Peterborough United expressed "frustration" after their match against Crawley was postponed about an hour before kick-off because of a frozen pitch.
A post on the club website said they had asked an official to conduct two pitch inspections earlier in the day and he had deemed the pitch playable, only for the match referee to call the game off on his arrival at the Weston Homes Stadium.
It said: "The football club are bitterly disappointed that their concerns earlier in the day on the playing surface, the freezing temperatures and the predicted temperatures were not taking into consideration, which has led to this late postponement.
"We sympathise with supporters of both Posh and Crawley for this decision."
Quarter-final line-up yet to be completed
In Tuesday's last-16 matches there were several upsets as Derby County lost 1-0 at home to Bradford City and Oxford United fell 2-0 at AFC Wimbledon.
Brighton & Hove Albion are the only Premier League academy side left in the competition after beating Reading on penalties and Wycombe Wanderers knocked out West Ham's under-21s.
The final fixture of the round has Doncaster Rovers hosting Wigan Athletic on 16 January (19:00 GMT) while Peterborough's postponed match against Crawley will be rearranged on a date to be fixed.
Round-of-16 winners will collect £40,000 in prize money and the quarter-final draw will be held at 18:30 GMT on 12 January ahead of the Championship match between Hull City and Norwich City (20:00 GMT).
The games will be played during the week beginning 29 January.
