Airdrieonians 1-1 Partick Thistle: Hosts drop to fifth after letting lead slip
- Published
Airdrieonians failed to narrow the gap between themselves and third-placed Partick Thistle as they let a one-goal lead slip in a Scottish Championship draw at the Excelsior Stadium.
Craig Watson netted the opener before Thistle responded four minutes later with an equaliser from Tomi Adeloye.
Neither side could find a winner after the break, meaning Kris Doolan's men stay nine points clear of their hosts.
The draw for Airdrie drops them to fifth after Morton's win over Arbroath.
