Manchester United transfer news: Winger Facundo Pellistri joins Granada on loan

Pellistri's last United appearance came against Wigan in the FA Cup third round

Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri has joined Granada on loan until the end of the season.

The Uruguay international, 22, who joined United from Penarol for £9m in October 2020, has made 14 appearances this season.

But only three of those appearances have been starts and Pellistri was an unused substitute against Newport County in Sunday's FA Cup win.

He returns to La Liga having had two loan spells at Alaves.
