Newport County have signed Geoffroy Bony - son of former Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony.
The 19-year-old has joined the League Two outifit after spending several weeks with the Exiles.
Like his dad Wilfried - whose UK clubs included Manchester City, Swansea City (twice) and Stoke City – Geoffroy is a striker.
Bony said: "It feels good to join the club. I was speaking with the manager before coming here, with him having worked at Swansea, and I really like the project he is building at Newport.
"I’ve been training with the team for a few weeks now, and I can see there are some really talented players at the club.
"I’m eager to kick on, make an impact, and help push the team forward."

His brother Orphee currently plays for the under-18s at Newport with whom Wilfried has previously trained while seeking a club.
The Exiles say Bony has impressed during his time at Newport and has now put pen to paper on a deal to officially join the squad.
Newport head coach Nelson Jardim was formerly part of Swansea City’s academy coaching set-up and so is well aware of young Bony’s talents.
Burly striker Wilfried was capped 56 times by the Ivory Coast, scoring 16 goals and helped them win the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015.
At Manchester City he was part of their League Cup winning squad in 2016, as Manuel Pellegrini’s men beat Liverpool on penalties in the final.
He is also fondly remembered for two spells at Swansea, while he also picked up a Czech First League title with Sparta Prague and was top scorer in the Eredivisie in 2013 during a spell at Vitesse.
