Carlisle United have signed young striker Joseph Bevan on loan from Burnley for the rest of the season.

Bevan, 20, is the 11th player the Cumbrians have brought in during the January transfer window.

Bevan joined Burnley last January from Scottish club Albion Rovers, but he is yet to make a senior appearance for the Clarets.

"We're really glad to get Joe in. He's got pace and power and he's a really exciting player," Carlisle head coach Mike Williamson told the club's website, external.

Carlisle are 23rd in League Two, five points shy of safety.
