Torquay United have re-signed Derby County forward Emmanuel Ilesanmi on loan.

The 20-year-old has agreed to return to the National League South promotion chasers until the end of the season.

Ilesanmi initially moved to Plainmoor at the end of January and made two substitute appearances before suffering a hamstring injury and returning to Pride Park.

He joins a fifth-placed Torquay side just three points off the top of the table with six games to play.

"We liked what we saw during that short period of time so we kept tabs on him," Torquay manager Paul Wotton told the club website.

"He's come back to full fitness and gives us another option with deadline day approaching on Thursday."

Ilesanmi is the latest new forward to move to Plainmoor this year after Offrande Zanzala joined last month and Matt Jay signed for the club in January.
