Myles Peart-Harris has joined Swansea City on loan from Premier League side Brentford.

The attacking midfielder has been monitored by the Swans throughout the summer and will now spend the remainder of the 2024-25 season with Luke Williams' Championship side.

“I like playing as an attacking number eight who can get into the box, but I have played in a number of positions over the last few seasons,” said Peart-Harris.

“I have played on the wings, as a striker, as a number 10, and wherever the manager wants me to play I will try and do a job.

“I am powerful, strong and athletic. I like to make runs in behind defenders to get in the box, and ultimately score goals, and I hope I can score plenty of goals for this club this season.”

It comes after head coach Williams stated he wanted to bolster his attacking options prior to Friday's 23:00 BST transfer deadline.

"I’m not going to expect anything but I’m hopeful," said Williams.

"I think we could probably still do with one or two players to strengthen the squad.

"I certainly think in the wide areas, we're short. Probably in the top half of the pitch we're still a little bit short. [Attacking additions] would be welcome."

Peart-Harris, 21, featured five times for the Bees under Thomas Frank last season and scored twice in 12 appearances for Portsmouth on loan in the second half of the 2023-24 campaign.

Swansea have received enquiries from Championship clubs about forward Liam Cullen - but insist the Wales international will not be leaving the club this month.

The striker's contract with his boyhood Swans expires next summer.

Meanwhile, the Swans are not expected to sign an additional centre-back this month.

Earlier in the summer, they had been confident of striking a deal to sign central defender Ben Nelson on loan from Premier League Leicester City, although the move fell through.

The 20-year-old has since been linked with a host of other Championship clubs, with Oxford United among those interested. Swansea have since signed Nelson Abbey on loan from Olympiacos.

Josh Thomas is poised to join Bromley on loan for the rest of the season.

The striker has agreed a new contract with Williams' side until the summer of 2026 - with the option of an additional 12 months - and will join fellow Swan Cameron Congreve at League Two Bromley.
