Carlisle sign Peterborough's Conn-Clarke on loan

Carlisle United have signed Chris Conn-Clarke on loan from Peterborough United until January.
Conn-Clarke, 23, scored just one goal in 30 appearances for Posh last season having moved from Altrincham and has not featured at all this campaign.
But the former Northern Ireland Under-21 attacking midfielder was National League Player of the Year in 2023-24, scoring 22 goals for Alty in a team which also included Carlisle striker Regan Linney, who scored 14 in the season they played together.
"Chris brings with him a proven track record at this level, and his experience, along with his technical ability, makes him a valuable addition to the squad," head coach Mark Hughes told the club's website., external

Carlisle are third in the National League after 14 games, one points behind leaders Rochdale.
