Ex-Villa and Hull defender Chester announces retirement

Former Wales, Hull City and Aston Villa defender James Chester has announced his retirement at the age of 36.
He joined League Two side Salford City last summer but has only made two appearances this season.
Chester won 35 caps for Wales and was part of the side that reached the semi-finals of Euro 2016.
He started his career with Manchester United and had loan spells with Peterborough, Plymouth and Carlisle before joining the Tigers in January 2011.
After helping them to promotion to the Premier League the following season and scoring in their FA Cup final defeat by Arsenal in 2014 he moved on to West Brom in July 2015.
Villa signed him the following summer and he was club captain when they beat Derby in the play-off final in 2019 to end their three-year spell in the Championship.
"After 18 years as a professional footballer and over 500 games, the time has come for me to announce my retirement," he posted on Instagram., external
"It's been an incredible journey, filled with unforgettable moments, amazing teammates, fantastic staff, and unwavering support at every club I've played for.
"I'm incredibly proud of everything I've achieved in the game, and now I'm excited to see what next my life brings next.
"I'll remain part of the Salford City squad until the end of the season, where I'll continue learning about the other aspects of football."
After leaving Villa in January 2020 he had spells with Stoke, Derby and Barrow before joining Salford last summer.
