Bristol Rovers have signed winger Micah Anthony on a two-year deal following his release from Queens Park Rangers at the end of last season.

Anthony, who has been on trial with the League One side, has the option of a further year with the club on his deal.

The 20-year-old joined QPR's academy at under-nine level and played for their under-18 and under-21 sides but had not made a first-team appearance.

“Since being with us on trial, Micah has shown us his talent and personality," said , externalRovers manager Matt Taylor.

"He has a high ceiling in terms of his potential and we’re looking forward to seeing him develop with us in the coming months.”

Anthony is Rovers' 13th signing this summer and joins ahead of their season opener at home to Northampton Town on Saturday.
