Barrow have signed midfielder MJ Williams from fellow League Two side MK Dons on a two-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old joins having played 59 games and scored two goals during an 18-month spell in Milton Keynes.
Williams came through Liverpool's academy and made one first team appearance for the club before joining Rochdale and later Blackpool and Bolton.
"Thinking back to last season, I played against Barrow twice, and they were both really difficult games," Williams said.
"You know that when you come to Barrow, it's a tough place to come, so I'm looking forward to being a part of the home side now and getting in front of the fans and showing them what I can do."
