Whitfield rejoins Barrow on loan from Burton

Ben Whitfield spent two seasons at Barrow after moving from Stockport in 2022

Barrow are bringing Ben Whitfield back to the club on loan from League One Burton Albion.

Whitfield spent two seasons with Barrow where he played 91 games and scored 17 goals before leaving last summer.

The winger, 28, has made 30 appearances for Burton and scored three times, but he has not featured since 4 January.

Now he is returning to Cumbria for the rest of the season to link up with Andy Whing's squad.

"I've had some amazing memories here over the past couple of years, and I'm excited to make some new memories during the rest of the season," Whitfield told the Barrow club website.
