Everton have triggered the option to sign midfielder Carlos Alcaraz on a permanent basis when his loan spell at the club concludes next month.
Alcaraz, 22, joined Everton on loan from Brazilian side Flamengo in February and will now be signed for an undisclosed fee.
The Argentina Under-23 international enjoyed a productive loan spell at Goodison Park, scoring two goals and providing three assists in 16 appearances.
He will sign a two-year contract, valid until June 2027.
Alcaraz previously played in the Premier League for Southampton, who he joined from Argentina's Racing Club in a £12m deal in January 2023.
Despite signing a new long-term contract with the Saints later that year, Alcaraz joined Juventus on loan in January 2024 - where he won the Coppa Italia.
Last August he left Southampton - after making 48 appearances - for Flamengo, where he won the Copa do Brasil.
