Bristol Rovers have signed Barnsley centre-back Kacper Lopata on a season-long loan.
The 23-year-old, who was born in Poland but moved to Bristol with his family as a youngster, is the 10th new signing for Rovers this summer.
He joins after spending last season on loan at Scottish Premier League side Ross County.
The former Brighton and Hove Albion youngster has also had spells at Sheffield United and Port Vale before moving to Barnsley two years ago.
"We have been looking to bring in reinforcements to our defensive options and he brings a strong profile to our group," Rovers' former Barnsley boss Darrell Clarke told the club website.
"I worked with Kacper at Barnsley and I know about his strengths, ability and what he can bring to the team.
"He is an aggressive and dominant centre-back that we are looking forward to working with in the coming months."
