League Two side Tranmere Rovers have re-signed Declan Drysdale on a one-year contract.

The 24-year-old central defender made his debut for Rovers in 2017 before leaving for Coventry City two years later.

Drysdale becomes manager Nigel Adkins sixth signing this summer following his release by Newport County at the end of last season.

"It was a no-brainer. When I got the call, I just wanted to get in and prove myself," he told the club website., external
