Bolton Wanderers defender Eoin Toal is set to be out for a "few weeks" of his side's run-in with a hamstring strain.

Toal picked up the problem in the defeat to Stockport County on 15 March.

The 26-year-old, who has played 22 games for Bolton this season, then reported for international duty with Northern Ireland where the injury was diagnosed.

"Eoin's got a hamstring strain so he'll be out for a few weeks, we think," manager Steven Schumacher told BBC Radio Manchester.

Bolton are away to Blackpool on Saturday and they sit seventh in League One, one point and one place outside the play-offs.
