Truro City have failed to score in two thirds of their National League matches

Truro City assistant manager Stewart Yetton says he and his side are frustrated by their 1-0 loss to Rochdale.

The Tinners conceded an early goal to the National League leaders but struggled to cause goalscoring chances.

The loss was their seventh in nine games and laves them second from bottom of the table, having failed to score in six of those games.

"We got in a lot of good positions but we lacked that quality to make that count - so a very frustrating day," Yetton told BBC Radio Cornwall after the defeat.

"We got in a lot of good areas, created a lot of entries into the final third, but again that final ball and that final delivery was not what we needed.

"There's plenty of hard work going on. We'll just continue to keep doing that and like anything, when you get in those positions, you've got to have the ability to execute.

"We're disappointed, I'm sure some of the players will be disappointed as well with the end result and our failure to put the ball in the net."
