Tranmere sign Luton forward Harris on loan

Taylan Harris has made 19 appearances at under-21 level in the past two seasons and scored 10 goals

League Two club Tranmere Rovers have signed forward Taylan Harris from Luton Town on a loan deal until January.

The 19-year-old came through Reading's academy and went on to make his senior debut in 2023 when he scored in their 9-0 EFL Trophy win over Exeter City.

He joined the Hatters in January 2024 but is yet to make a full senior appearance for the club.

"I'm really excited to be here - it's a brilliant opportunity at a big club, and I can't wait to get started," Harris told Tranmere's website.

"The conversations I've had with the manager [Andy Crosby] have been positive, and I just want to get started now and make an impact."
