Blackburn Rovers have activated a clause in defender Dom Hyam's contract to keep him at the club until the end of next season.
The 29-year-old joined on a three-year deal from Coventry in the summer of 2022 and has been ever-present in the league this campaign.
He is the second player Rovers have tied down to an extended deal this week after defender Yuri Ribeiro signed a two-year contract on Thursday.
Valerien Ismael's side, who host Middlesbrough on Friday, are 11th in the Championship, five points off the play-offs but with just one point from their past six matches.
