Bradford City have signed goalkeeper Joe Hilton from Blackburn Rovers on a permanent deal.

The 25-year-old has signed an 18-month contract that has the option of an additional year.

The Bantams have also signed Republic of Ireland under-21 Tayo Adaramola from Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old wing-back has made 81 appearances for the Eagles' under-18s and under-21s, and spent the first half of the season on loan at League One Stockport County, starting three league games and playing against City in the EFL Trophy second round.

Hilton has previously been a part of Manchester City and Everton's academy sides and was involved in several Premier League matchday squads for the Toffees.

"I am really excited," Hilton said. "It is a massive club and this is a great opportunity, I cannot wait to get started.

"The club deserves to be higher than it is, I am ready to help push on and hopefully get promotion."
